Back to work tomorrow!

Wednesday, the day that I start my workweek with. It will be a busy day I expect. Mainly because there are many people on that day. Which is good, where would we be without all these people that came to help out on the sanctuary, right? I am thinking of some assignments that I could give to the interns that we have. Last week I had them pick a donkey and observe it for a hour. After that they had to return with their findings. My purpose for that was to see if they had it in them to observe and notice small signs of donkeys. Specially donkeys have a tendency to keep themselfs showing all healthy while they may have an underlaying problem like lameness. But even though they may try to hide it well, there are always signs in behaviour that can tell there is something off with a donkey. This is what I wanted them to understand. The first basic of observing behaviour is very important. Also I tried to see what they knew about behaviour of our donkeys. Who do they like to interact with, do they have their little "weird" things when they walk around and eat of the hay... Such things. If you know what the donkey does when it is healthy, then you will notice it even quicker when something is off. Important is then also that you know to describe this in a very clear manner. And for this again it is important for me to know how the other expresses their observation. That was the second reason for me to give the interns that assignment. They have to learn to observe the donkeys and I was learning about the interns. They liked the asignment, and that made me deside to see if I could come up with more of those. At this moment... I am at a blank though, but I am sure there may be one popping up any time soon. I have that tendency to end up with an idea on the moment itself instead of way before time.
For the moment, it is now twenty minutes past eleven so I will make ready to go and snore some. For a busy day it is best one has slept good too.

Just another day...

What is one to do on a perfect day and not really feeling like doing anything at all? Well, in my case I get very creative in such moments. The end result is today this page. It is not my first personal webpage mind you, but I do have to say it looks a lot better then any other I have made sofar. However, I too have other things to do still and I have to leave the creation of this page for the moment to dive into the dark thing called "Cleaning"... (Shivers)
Later today I will continue with tinkering on this and I may even decide to make a dutch version. Just for those dutch that are not that good in English. For now, I will smoke my last cigarette and then I really have to log off. Blugh, I absolutely have no energy to do all those things I still have to do, but since I have not yet found any of my pets willing to help me out, I will have to go and do it myself. It really makes me think... One of these days I really have to teach my dogs how to mop the floor and my cats how to clean dishes and work the laundry machine... :P
Okay, well sofar from me, my greetings to all of you out there...
Untill later!
